Food Safe Reports is a confidential reporting tool that enables employees to connect and provide important information to their employer anonymously and be confident that their submission will be escalated to the proper recipient.
Food manufacturers and suppliers must have a Whistleblowing Hotline in place from 1st February 2019 to conform with the updated BRC Global Standard for Food Safety (Clause 1.1.6).
The newly-added Clause 1.1.6 outlines a requirement for a “Confidential Reporting System” – more commonly known as a “whistleblowing hotline” or “Speak Up service”.
