Businesses now place a larger emphasis on implementing whistleblowing systems due to the global fight against corruption, fraud, and violations of human rights.
The implementation of the EU Whistleblower Directive, which shook the food safety and supply chain assurance sectors, is one recent seismic occurrence.
According to the new directive, businesses with 250 or more workers must abide by the rules regarding how to handle workplace corruption and wrongdoing. The deadline for companies with 50 to 249 workers is the end of 2023.
